We have an art teacher! Thank you to all who came, who donated food, supplies, your art, and your time!! And a huge thank-you to the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, who provided a grant towards two years of our teacher's salary!! We are SO excited, and cannot wait to see what the kids create this year!

Come Read with us!

We are always looking for volunteers! Sign up to come read with kids, or help teachers make copies, or be an extra grown-up presence in the art room, to help every kid get the attention that they need!

Arts Teacher

Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, we have an art teacher for the second year in a row!!
We deeply believe in the power of the arts-- We know our students will flourish as they're exposed to new ways to see and understand the world as well as express themselves.
We are accepting donations toward this goal, and if this sounds like something you want to help make happen, you can support us online at the button below, or checks can be made out to "East Lake Community PTA" and sent to the school:

The New Playground

October 12, 2016

Thanks to the hard work of Ms. Griggs and generous donations from partners in our city, we have a new playground! Have you seen it?
It's absolutely gorgeous, and now there's enough space for all our kids to play during recess!
