ELNA plans fun events in the East Lake neighborhood to help neighbors get to know one another and connect to the resources available in our neighborhood. They also meet regularly to discuss issues in our community.

East Lake Expression Engine
"The East Lake Expression Engine (ELEE) is an El Sistema-inspired music education program based in the East Lake neighborhood of Chattanooga, TN. We operate on the principle that music education is an effective tool for developing children's creativity, problem solving and social skills, and for building up a strong community. Our aim is to bring about a decrease in violent and socially disruptive behavior, and an increase in school attendance, academic success, and social responsibility in our students."

Chattanooga Sports Ministries
"CSM seeks to transform the communities of at-risk youth through athletic engagement, training in life skills and the formation of intentional, gospel-centered, cross-cultural mentoring relationships."
Throughout the year they host soccer practices for East Lake youth, and they also have a summer-long soccer camp.

East Lake Montessori School
East Lake Montessori School (ELM) is a "part –time, fully inclusive Montessori preschool program serving children ages 0-5. (Their) two day a week program is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-1:00pm." "(They) believe that every child deserves a strong foundational education that ignites creativity and a life-long love of learning."
